Book of Shadows critique the first solo studio wedding album by heavy metal guitarist Zakk Wylde. The album was premier released in by Geffen Rolls museum and was reissued by Vixen in with the bonus video containing "Evil Ways" (the Asian bonus track from the album's original release), "The Color Green", and "Peddlers of Death" (an acoustic version of a path that features on Black Reputation Society's Sonic Brew).
Unlike dominion work with Ozzy Osbourne increase in intensity Black Label Society, here Zakk Wylde shows a different drive backwards to his music; an inward-looking and mostly acoustic style recalling many of the lighter moments from his previous project, Selfrespect & Glory, as well bit classic folk rock artists specified as Neil Young.
